12) Entry Keypad (KP-86)

The KP-86 offers a 4-digit jumper programmable Master code with repeating digits (allowing 9,000 possible different codes). The big advantage of the jumper is that even in the event of a power failure, the unit does not go back to the 1,2,3,4 factory code that everybody knows, but to your own code. The KP-86 also has the facility of programming an auxiliary code. This auxiliary code can be given to anybody needing temporary access, and is very easy to reprogram at anytime.

The KP-86 mounts directly on a standard gang box. It can be used to enable or disable one or several detectors. The detectors most commonly used with the PK-86 are:

a)      Magnetic Switches on doors (windows, drawers...)

b)      Passive Infra Red sensors (refer to PIR-86)

The Magnetic switch supplied with the KP-86 is easy to install above a door, a window, a drawer... It will send an alarm as soon as the 2 parts are separated.

Different kinds of magnetic switches are available to fit specific customer requirements.

NOTE: The KP-86 requires an extra pair of # 18 wires for the power supply.

13) Auto Dialer with Pre-Recorded Message (AD-86)

·        The AD-86 is an automatic dialer that will dial up to 10 phone numbers in an alarm condition

·        If the line is busy or unanswered it will try the next number and come back to the number at a later time

·        The AD-86 will keep dialing until the problem has been fixed or has been acknowledged

·        It allows remote access via telephone to check status

·        When the phone is answered it reads a pre-recorded message
