LOW COST MONITORING PANEL

(LC-7, LC-14)

These panels are designed to respond to situations where the customer requires a remote annunciator panel and has a low budget. They are available with 7 alarms (LC‑7), or 14 alarms (LC‑14). If more monitoring points are needed, several panels can be mounted side by side. For a large number of points it might also be worth investigating the DIN rack mounting option.

Description:

The front panel is made of brushed aluminum, with a clear Plexiglas plate behind which a paper can be inserted. This enables the customer to write and update any alarm at any time.

The enclosure measures 10.5" x 12.5" x 3" and is available in "IBM" beige. Power requirement: 110v AC/1AMP.

Operation:

·        The panel can best be described as a follower; none of the alarms are latched.

·        When a contact (or a light) is closed in the unit(s) to monitor, the corresponding light in the panel lights up. The alarms are not memorized, meaning that as soon as the alarm condition disappears, the light in the panel turns off.

·        The horn sounds with the first alarm, and it can be silenced.

·        Any subsequent alarm lights the corresponding LED, but WILL NOT RESTART THE HORN.

·        The horn resets by itself when all alarm conditions have cleared.

It is possible to attach a remote summary alarm to this panel.

* NOTE: this panel requires a contact closure (relay, transistor...) to work. It is therefore not compatible with the Water Detector (WD-86).
