3) CUSTOM DESIGNED MONITORING PANEL (CAP-X, CAP-XS).

This custom monitoring panel was designed because no two computer rooms are alike, and no two customers have the same needs. It is custom built using modules to suit the customer's specific requirements.

Description: 

The front panel usually represents the floor print of the area (s) to monitor. It is typically engraved or silk-screened on 1/8" aluminum (because of its special design it is possible to remove the front panel and add extra LEDs at a later date). Every detector or piece of equipment is represented with one (or more) LED.

A description and a name can be printed / engraved i.e. "Water Detector". Therefore it is very easy to locate a problem just by looking at the front panel. This feature is very important for people who may not be familiar with all of the equipment (computer operators, security guards...).

      ·           The size, shape and mounting of the panel are adjusted to best fit 

·           The panel can rest on a shelf, or be mounted on a wall 

·             The colour of the panel can be chosen to suit the office decor.

·             This panel is built using either the AB-8 or AB-8S boards (described later) or any combination of the two.

·             As many boards as needed are installed in parallel to reach the desired number of points. One to several hundred detectors in different areas can be very easily monitored from one single display panel.

As a reminder: every 8 input monitoring board can be programmed to activate 2 "priority" relays. This feature can be used in many different ways. Either parallel all the "priorities" (using the board’s internal communication bus) to obtain a summary alarm, or arrange them in any combination (max. 2 per board), to obtain different actions.
